Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time.
Hi - my name is Maggie. I was out in the world all alone before my foster mom rescued me. I was injured before I came to live with her, and my left front paw is frozen at the first joint but I get around very well.
I'm feline leukemia/fiv negative, up-to-date on my vaccinations, and I have been spayed. I'm a little shy around new people at first, but once I get to know you I'm loving and affectionate.
If you'd like to talk more with my foster mom or set up a time to meet me in person, select this link to email her. Please note that applicants looking for an outdoor cat or who will be de-clawing will not be considered for Maggie.
Special Needs: Limited use of left front elbow
Appointments to be introduced to animals in foster care can be arranged with foster parents to meet your schedule; however, please keep in mind that most of our foster parents do work full-time. If you would like to see an animal in foster care, please contact their foster parent through the email address provided in the animal's bio. Adoption fees are $75 for kittens/cats and $100 for puppies/dogs - this includes age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and the spay/neuter.
