Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time.

My name is Callie.  I'm female, approximately four months old and weigh four pounds.  I was rescued by a very nice lady and her son, who live in an apartment complex.  They are not allowed to keep pets, so they contacted someone from YCHS.  I am in a foster home now, but I hope to have a forever home with you.

Appointments to be introduced to animals in foster care can be arranged with foster parents to meet your schedule; however, please keep in mind that most of our foster parents do work full-time.  If you would like to see an animal in foster care, please contact their foster parent through the email address provided in the animal's bio. Adoption fees are $75 for kittens/cats and $100 for puppies/dogs - this includes age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and the spay/neuter.
