Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time.
Hi - my name is Miley. I am a little girl, around six months old. I was a stray surviving on my own in a neighborhood in Jonesville where a kind lady was feeding me. She already had three other cats, so now I'm in foster care until I can find a forever home.
I'm a little afraid of people and other animals, so it would probably be best if someone who adopted me didn't have other pet so I wouldn't have to be afraid anymore. I've been spayed and I'm up-to-date on all of my vaccinations.
If you are interested in meeting me, or would like to talk further with my foster family, please contact my foster mom at 336-835-1651 or email Taylorladydi@aol.com or Blairdh@rivercto.net - thanks for reading my story. Love, Miley
Appointments to be introduced to animals in foster care can be arranged with foster parents to meet your schedule; however, please keep in mind that most of our foster parents do work full-time. If you would like to see an animal in foster care, please contact their foster parent through the email address provided in the animal's bio. Adoption fees are $75 for kittens/cats and $100 for puppies/dogs - this includes age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and the spay/neuter.
