This handsome boy was found wandering in the middle of the road all alone.  A good samaritan rescued him from danger and is caring for him.  He has no collar and an owner has not been located, so they are looking for a loving, forever home for him at this time.

Goober as they have dubbed him is a neutered male, estimated to be between eight months and a year old.  He is current on all of his vaccinations and is heartworm negative.  He is quite skinny (weighs 36 pounds) and may have been on his own for some time.  Despite this, he shows no food aggression whatsoever and takes treats gently from your hand.

He has incredible eyes, which the pictures do not reveal.  He is as sweet as they come.  He loves to play with a tennis ball and to be chased.  As with most labs, he's a people dog and likes to be scratched and talked to.  An adoptive family with children to play with would be perfect for this boy!
