Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time.
My name is Sam - I was found wandering around a bank parking lot where a Humane Society member happens to work and she came to my rescue. Since then I've been safe and sound in foster care.
I've blossomed in foster care - I follow my caretaker around and play well with the dogs and other cats in the house.
I'm feline leukemia/fiv negative, UTD on all my vaccinations, and I was neutered on 9/26.
I'm really hoping that someone sees what a wonderful companion I can be and gives me a forever home - I never want to be out on my own in the world ever again! If you'd like to meet me in person, or talk with my foster parent further, please email blairh@rivercto.net.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats
Appointments to be introduced to animals in foster care can be arranged with foster parents to meet your schedule; however, please keep in mind that most of our foster parents do work full-time. If you would like to see an animal in foster care, please contact their foster parent through the email address provided in the animal's bio. Adoption fees are $75 for kittens/cats and $100 for puppies/dogs - this includes age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and the spay/neuter.
