Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time.

Allow me to introduce myself - I'm Angel. I'm a very loving girl who's life started off a little rough - I was injured and abandoned. A local vet took me in and then YCHS helped pay for surgery to amputate my front leg because it couldn't be fixed. I'm in foster care now and doing great.

I'm very calm and loving - I like to be cuddled! I'm in a foster home with dogs and I'm not intimidated or scared of them at all. I get along well with other cats too.

The vet estimates that I was born around the first of July. I'm up-to-date on my vaccinations, feline leukemia/fiv negative, and healthy. My $75 adoption fee includes the cost of my spay when I'm old enough.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Appointments to be introduced to animals in foster care can be arranged with foster parents to meet your schedule; however, please keep in mind that most of our foster parents do work full-time.  If you would like to see an animal in foster care, please contact their foster parent through the email address provided in the animal's bio. Adoption fees are $75 for kittens/cats and $100 for puppies/dogs - this includes age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and the spay/neuter.
