COURTESY LISTING POLICY

Yadkin County Humane Society will provide a "Courtesy Listing" on our website, and the animal listing services (e.g. Petfinder and 1-800-Save-A-Pet) that we upload our listings to, for any individual in Yadkin or surrounding counties looking for a home for an animal. 

There are two pre-requisites for this service.  The animal must be up-to-date on all vaccinations, and if the animal is six months or more old, he/she must be altered.  Written proof of vaccinations and/or spay/neuter must be provided upon request.

 It is the responsibility of the requestor to provide information for a bio and digital photos - bios with pictures are viewed by potential adoptees much more frequently and they reduce the time to place.  If the requestor does not have access to a digital camera or computer, YCHS will solicit a volunteer to assist with photos; however, this service is not guaranteed.

All courtesy listings will have a disclaimer statement at the top of the bio as follows:
